# The sniping it self ETH

Alright first of all choosing your slippage is not something easy. \
I would recommend to NEVER snipe ETH amounts if you are most likely above the max transaction limit. For reference if the starting liquidity is 1ETH with most of the supply in the liquidity pool and the contract has a max transaction of 1% the first buyer would pay about 0.01ETH for 1% of the supply. If the starting liquidity is 50ETH with a max txn of 1% you chould just ape anything below 0.5ETH.\
\
So I would recommend sniping token amounts instead with ETH slippage. So for a not so hyped launch with a starting liq of 1ETH and a 1% max TXN I would snipe 1% with a ETH slippage of 0.04 so I can still buy the token if it is 4x from launch. Of course you need to change this number depending on a few factors such as starting liquidity, hype and max txn. You would need to question yourself how much are you willing to pay for 1% of the supply or less if you are aiming for that.\
\
This is probably the most asked question I get about sniping: How much GWEI(delta) should I use??\
To answer this question: There is no set amount of GWEI you should use for your snipes.\
However I would advise these GWEI settings for certain scenarios\
\
Here is a guideline that beginners could follow for how much delta (extra GWEI) they should use. For a not so hyped launch with maybe 10 snipers I would recommend being in the range of \~60GWEI \
For some hyped launches with 10-50 snipers I would recommend going for 100+ GWEI minimum and depending on the launch up to 300/400 GWEI \
For hyped launches with over 50 snipers I would recommend staying away unless you are willing to bribe over 300GWEI minimum and this would most likely get you a lower end entry compared to most maestro users if the bundle gets accepted by the validator. \
Giving a proper guideline for really hyped launches with 50+ snipers is extremely hard since it depends on the project but for reference some hyped launches get bribed with over 10ETH and 10ETH is on the low side. \
\
To check for the amount of snipers you would need to check a few things such as how many hits does the contract have on the maestro alpha counter how much marketing has been done and how much hype is surrounding the project. \
\
Ofcourse the best way to determine how much GWEI you should snipe with is by checking etherscan for previous launches of that size. I would also like to suggest to ape a dip for hyped launches if you are not willing to pay a few hundred/thousand dollar bribes.\
\
For non block 0 snipes\
It's quite simple use a lot of GWEI. I can’t give you a guideline for this since its extremely different for each and every launch but using more GWEI tends to give you a better entry. However using the most GWEI won’t give you the best entry every time since there are a lot known and unknown factors that determine your entry. How blockbuilders sort blocks is a real mystery
