# Config

Before you can snipe with maestro I would recommend to change a few settings to make sure your sniping experience is the best possible.\

:x:Anti-MEV/semi-private transactions should be turned off to make sure you get the fastest entry however this will endanger you to front running and or MEV bots on non block 0 transactions.\
\
Max Gas Price This setting should be relatively high 500GWEI should be sufficient for most however if you start sniping in the range of 400+ I would advise to put it at a even higher number to avoid your snipes having less GWEI then you want them to have.\
\
Max Gas limit doesn't matter that much leaving it on default will be sufficient for 99% of the userbase.\
\
Degen mode this setting is completely up to you. If you have it turned on you will have a higher chance to get scammed for more info check the official maestro guide and decide for yourself.\
\
:white\_check\_mark:Auto approve should be on since it just makes your live easier and it makes sure that you can sell within seconds after you buy.\ <br>
